My fiction...

A war romance...

The Eagles of the Sierra Madre spans the last year of World War II.  It is a story, too common, during wartime. Two young people meet and war gets in their way.  One is a pilot of the Mexican Expeditionary Air Force.  The other a young Woman Army Corps instructor.  Family conflicts surface from a secret from more then twenty years ago.  The story is against the backdrop of Texas and then the South Pacific.  Segments of the war are experienced by the P-47 aviator as he passes through New Guinea,Tinian Island, and then the days servicemen return to America.
Do they reunite?
