Los Llanos
The llanos is a relatively flat land. Few trees exist. Considerable varities of grasses exist. In the dry season it is like the North American prairie during the summer. In the wet season, the land becomes a wetland of many nameless lakes, filled with numerous wildlife. In the United States, there is a llanos in western Texas. Historically, the llanos is more associated with the landscape in northern South America.
The Llanos is central on the above map.
